Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Miss Hetmanek and I am so excited for the 2018-2019 school year! This is my first year teaching at Walnut Hill! I'm from Omaha, Nebraska. I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Advertising and a Master's degree in Elementary Teaching. I lived in Africa - Namibia, to be exact - for 6 months where I taught Math and English to Grades 8 and 9 learners! This is going to be a fun an exciting year and I can't wait to get started!
COLLEGE AND CAREER READY
Each classroom at Walnut Hill has adopted a college or university to encourage our students to be college and career bound. Our classroom is lucky enough to have South Dakota State University as our adopted college. You can find more information about SDSU here.
